Built by someone who has keyed the invoices
NoticeDesk is built by a practitioner who spent years in EDI and invoice automation, the plumbing through which UK businesses' purchase data flows. Reading the document is the cheap part. The expensive part is trusting what was read, and proving it later.
A number in your ledger is only as good as the document behind it and the check you can show was run.
So NoticeDesk is built UK-first: Notice 700's invoice particulars, HMRC's and VIES's registers, the import formats of Sage 50, Xero and QuickBooks® Online, and a FreeAgent bill-ready sheet, are the core of the product. It also holds to one discipline throughout: it tells you what it found and what it couldn't verify, and doesn't dress either up.
It is built with and for UK accountants, bookkeepers and the businesses they keep straight. If that's you, see plans and pricing, and tell us what it gets wrong: get in touch.
How it's built
- It advises, you decide
- Duplicates, defects, mismatches: NoticeDesk flags and explains, then leaves the decision with you. People work around software that blocks them, so NoticeDesk doesn't block.
- Evidence over claims
- A marker on every doubtful field instead of a vanity accuracy number. It reports "no defects found", not a promise about what HMRC will accept. An unverified register lookup is reported as unverified, never as verified.
- Nothing is silently lost
- Unparseable documents go to Manual Review with the original file preserved. Edits are saved with an audit trail. Every defect carries the rule it was raised against.
